Run in Golden Gate Park

After a long hiatus from running in SF I managed to get out for a morning trot through the Golden Gate Park. And, I managed to run a route I've been on before: http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=144565. It's a nice 3-mile loop through the park and it's always fun to run in the middle of a road that's closed to traffic. 8) Apparently just a few hours earlier this morning there was a 5k run and walk through the park. It's been ages since I've run competitively, but doing a 5k or 10k again would be sorta fun.

The morning was clear with temps in the low 50s. It's a little cold to just stand around in running shorts and a T-shirt but after running for a minute or so it's not so bad. My time was ... about 24 minutes, but I don't recall exactly what it was anymore. I felt pretty good about the run, plus, I wanted it to be a "short" run so I could get on with the day.
