More than half of the rest areas along interstates in Washington now offer wireless. For free you can view WSDOT web sites, check traffic conditions, and do a few other things. For $2-$4 you can get real internet service. Pretty cool. See the map for a list of all the rest areas with wifi. Oddly, the "has wifi" icon is sometimes grouped with "has RV dump station"; the icon shows ... well, I don't know what, but the wifi antenna is in the lower half and that can't be good.
