I'm having second thoughts about my earlier opinion that home-cooked food is better than gourmet dining. Or, at least, home-cooked from scratch food isn't. Or, perhaps I just can't cook rice. In any event, I've eaten, but I don't look forward much to having the leftovers anytime soon. I think perhaps I should use have used white rice instead of brown rice, and fry the veggies a bit more before adding the rice the next time. [I was trying to make fried rice, but I had more ingredients than my frying pan could take, and ended up steaming everything to done-ness. Things were cooked but a bit more soggy than crispy.] Oh, well. Live and eat and learn.
