I opened a box that's been in my dining room since I moved back from Cow Hollow last October. I've been avoiding clearing out the box because, frankly, I don't know where I want to put all the contents. It mostly has postal mail, letters, and other bits I'd received last summer. But today I thought, okay, if I take something out each day, it'll eventually be empty, right? So I opened it up and found, not just mail, but stuff I'd thought I'd lost!

My old cell phone, unlocked so it can work in Europe and with any SIM card.

A couple of nice mechanical pencils.

Three packages of Pixel blocks.

Several FRS radios.

The network and display dongle for my laptop.

And, in fact, a pile of mail, too. But what a find - stuff I'd thought was gone forever, by means I couldn't explain (did someone break into my apartment and steal *just* some old cell phone?!). Very happy.
