What a difference 15 degrees makes. Today's run in Golden Gate park felt better and my route was the usual 3 mile route, more or less. I wore the CamelBak, which was helpful for the water, but I think it made it harder to draw in a full lung of air. While running I felt tired often, and I think it was just a matter of not breathing deeply enough. So I'll try again without it. I had tightened the CamelBak straps because my shirt was riding up in the back, but I think that's why it was too tight. "Next time, no shirt." Heh. So, all told, it was good to go that length but I wish I'd have strung it all together in one run.
