Spring's first real sunny day
I spent the morning outdoors at a small event but without any shade for me head. Man, am I regretting that now. Two hours of solar flux later and my forehead looks like Bob the Tomato. My role in the event called for wearing pants and a long-sleeved shirt, so at least the only real damage was to my head. But, ow, any sun now makes my head tingle.
Later in the day I had another outdoor event, but this time I was wise enough to find some shade. Not wise enough to put on sunscreen before going, despite having at least three opportunities to do so. But, hey, it's the first sunny day of the season. As the cleck at the grocery store put it, gotta get that base layer down. Base layer of burned and tingling skin? Hm, not sure, but I appreciated the sentiment.
Just under 70F outside now. Hm, I'd like to make cookies tonight, but I'm unsure I want a 375F oven in my apartment. But I _would_ like cocoa peanut butter chip cookies. Mmmm..... cookies....
