Washington state rest areas go wireless
More than half of the rest areas along interstates in Washington now offer wireless. For free you can view WSDOT web sites, check traffic conditions, and do a few other things. For $2-$4 you can get real internet service. Pretty cool. See the map
for a list of all the rest areas with wifi. Oddly, the "has wifi" icon is sometimes grouped with "has RV dump station"; the icon shows ... well, I don't know what, but the wifi antenna is in the lower half and that can't be good.
Anyhoo, happy browsing while driving, er, resting.
