The beginning of missing posts
This week I've been out until late, so no time to post to LJ at the end of the day. At least, that's my excuse.
FRIDAY: straightened apartment; cleaned off computer/electronics desk; assembled a simple DC inverter circuit from a schematic my dad found, but the assembly didn't work and I'll need to debug on Monday; small odds and ends; birthday party for Deb in the evening.
THURSDAY: drove M to SF; bought two display cases from sfDisplay.com
on the way back from SF; mounted display cases and filled them with glass; 30 minute phone call with work to sync up on my project while I'm away; drove to SF for bab5 in the evening.
WEDNESDAY: read or skimmed about 200 pages from my college physics book (a mid-90s edition of Halliday, Resnick, & Walker), in order to brush up on the physics of electric and magnetic fields; glass at Doug's garage after M came down in the evening.
TUESDAY: dinner with my friend Greg, now at Facebook; read or skimmed three books about estate planning and the like.
This weekend: a visit to David's parents' cabin near Santa Rosa.
Next week: more electronic fiddling; talking to estate planning attorneys.
