Such a nice evening (70F and sunny) that I couldn't stay at work. I went home early and ran a short (3 mile) loop
in 23:59. My lower back muscles hurt yesterday and a bit today so I didn't feel great with pushing myself; I walked about 2:40 of that time. Still, that puts the pace at a bit under 8 minutes per mile, which makes me happy. I'd be pretty psyched if I could be down to, say, 7:10 per mile by the end of summer. That'd put me on a 5K in just over 22 minutes.
