Unexpectedly I returned to NYC this past week, and this time I brought my CamelBak. With my own water supply I had no trouble with a 4+ mile run and a 3+ mile run on Sunday and Thursday, respectively, both along the Hudson. I still took a break part-way through the runs; it was, after all, in the mid-80s to low-90s when I ran. I also used My Tracks to map and time my run. With my Nexus One in my Camel Bak it's pretty easy to carry it with me. There's a lot of apparent jitter in the track, I don't know if that's from being in an urban canyon (although I was running mostly along the Hudson River), from the vertical jitter as I run, or just noise to be expected. In any event it's a pretty nice way to document the run.
