Google+ has exceeded my expectations. My expectations were set low because, while it was in development, I only ever saw the engineering prototype (ie, the thing with rough UI edges and bugs), and I never saw my friends on it (because only a few of my friends work at Google). Now that it's launched, I've found myself checking it a few times per day, uploading photos (Google+ mobile app for Android makes this process so smooth), replying to comments by friends, and generally doing everything normal people would do on Facebook. In fact, because of Google+, I want to see +1 buttons everywhere on the Web now, so I can share interesting things I see with my Circles. And, of course, I want Google+ to open up to more users because not everyone I know got in under the wire and it's sort of rude to leave them out.
So, here's to surpassing expectations. I'll see what I can do to help make it even better.
