Running in 60 degree weather down in Mountain View is a lot different than running in 60 degree weather in Seattle. In Seattle, 60F means 60F, because it's overcast and the air and earth are uniformly the same temperature. Down here, 60F means the temp in the shade, and running for a mile or more in the direct sun can really wear a person down. Even a mid-November late sun. Who knew?
