I saw Jackie Chan's latest flick, The Tuxedo, this evening. M'eh, I wasn't too impressed. There wasn't enough martial arts for me, and the stunts that were included, were very stylized (because Jackie's character was wearing a tuxedo that gave him beyond-normal powers). So the visual action shots weren't very satisfying. The plot was mostly okay, although it was sort of confusing for the whole first half.
I'm inclined to go rent Rush Hour or Shanghai Noon and rewatch these, so I can remember what a really exciting Jackie Chan flick is.
Oh, and I didn't get the matinee -- I caught an 8pm showing. When did movies get to cost so much? $9.50 for me. Too bad I'm no longer a student -- only $7.50 for grad students with IDs. 8)
